It’s Aimee Mann’s birthday today.

The first Aimee Mann record I ever bought was I’m With Stupid, which is still one of my favorite albums. But I’ve also loved pretty much every record she’s put out since.

This is the video for her new single, “Charmer,” and it’s the title track for her new album, out on September 18. I am definitely going to buy it.

This video is delightful, as it features Laura Linney as a robot Aimee Mann.
