jamesbailie: i really enjoy the lone cornmeal machine and was wondering how it became? how often are you making videos at the moment? i'd love to submit an idea at some point!

The Lone Cornmeal Machine’s origins are mysterious, but these facts are known:

  • The end credits are accurate— The Lone Cornmeal Machine shorts are made by Maëlle Doliveux (ALL visuals and visual ideas) and Connor Ratliff (editing and all things you hear and occasionally making things sort of make sense).
  • Suggestions can ALWAYS be twittered at them (@LoneCornmeal)
  • There were 13 weeks of uninterrupted Lone Cornmeal shorts from late June to September. Since then, there has been exactly ONE new Lone Cornmeal short and a special Holiday edition comprised mostly of old clips. Almost no one on earth watched the latter two installments, but they can all be found on YouTube.
  • There is at least one new Lone Cornmeal episode in the planning stages, with a possible few more (or several) to follow in the not-too-distant future. Get your suggestions in now if you want to possibly have an influence over what happens!

In the meantime, tell your friends to seek out past episodes of The Lone Cornmeal Machine so that it can have viewing statistics that make it at least mildly competitive with some of the most boring things on YouTube.

Thanks for your interest and for saying nice things about it.
